Jordaan Walking Tour
The Jordaan quarter was built in 1612 as a neighborhood for immigrants and the working-class. During this guided walking tour you will pass the famous "courtyards" of Amsterdam, small shopping streets, cozy pubs and houses of famous painters and writers.The most dominating thing of the Jordaan is probably the Westerkerk. Written in Marble there is a text in the Westerkerk suggesting that Rembrandt van Rijn is burried here, but this is not true. This is just one of the things you will see during the tour.
