Perfect Photo Safari Bike Tour
This tour is about capturing the city’s Dutch architecture, markets, and lifestyle on camera. Our guides work with amateurs, bloggers, professionals, and movie scouts year round hunting for unique photo opportunities in Amsterdam. You will cycle through the city and have ample time at each of the twelve destinations to observe and learn about your new surroundings then shot some photos. Our routes are flexible on this tour due to the changing Dutch weather. So rain, shine, or fog this tour will offer you a chance to focus on capturing our wonderful city and its people.
On this three-hour tour an artist who will give suggestions on what makes each location unique, and what you might try to capture will guide you. For larger groups our photo safari has you work in teams. At each location you will be given a search list to hunt down that perfect shot.
Because this is a photo tour in Holland we are subject to the weather, and here in Amsterdam there is no shortage of photo opportunities, our routes are flexible, but our goals are the following-
Start your tour at the center of historic Amsterdam, Dam Square, where you will meet your guide and receive your bike and start our three our adventure.
Make 12 five to ten minute stops in the city capturing these themes.
Amsterdam is divided into districts each with its own unique architecture. This is Amsterdam’s historic growth from the twelfth century right up to modern era. We will attempt to capture the history of Amsterdam through its buildings.
Amsterdamsers are not like most of the country. With over 140 different inhabitants this city has a muti-ethnic richness. In our markets and cafes outside of the touristy center you will experience people at their everyday lives trading and relaxing, the Amsterdam way.
Our safari offers thrills and excitement around town. Transportation in Amsterdam is a culture shock for most people visiting. We will embrace our city’s favorite subject, the bike, as your guide participates in taking photos of you bravely navigating through the city. We will find areas in the city where near syncopation of cyclist wiz by, or on rainy days see a battered umbrella survivalist arrive at work.
Flowers, plants, trees, and parks just a few example of the cities cultural past. In a city completely man made the Dutch have a unique relationship with nature. They also have the world’s largest flower exchange. An almost iconic symbol the tulip lasts for just a month or two, but the flower power of the Dutch blooms all year. Visits to parks and flower stalls are all part of this great photo tour.
In front of The National Monument on Dam Square then short walk to rent a bike
