Keukenhof and Amsterdam
4 out of 5 stars (2 reviews)

Spring is in the air! The time to visit Keukenhof

For over sixty years Keukenhof has been one of the biggest crowd pullers in the Netherlands. Nowhere else in the world can you find so many flowers in so many special compositions. Over the 32 hectares the park covers there are no less than 7 million bulbs! Each path leads you to a spectacular new flower tableau. Do not forget to bring your camera! We allow you ample time to see the park at your leisure. The coach ride to Keukenhof is also worthwhile, we have chosen a route which takes you past the colourful flower fields.

Amsterdam has so much more to offer besides the canals. On this tour, a live guide will show you countless of interesting sights and amazing views inside and outside the historic city center. The route will take you along the Amstel river with its beautiful houseboats, to Amsterdam’s lovely green belt and back into the city center. Our buses are spacious and air-conditioned; the high windows allow you to enjoy a great view. You will be able to admire the idyllic suburban scenery and  the architecture of beautiful mansions. We will have a picture stop at a remarkable windmill. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to visit the Diamond factory in the Museum District, from here you can decide whether you want to explore Amsterdam further on your own, or get back into the bus which will take you  back to the starting point.

The Keukenhof in Lisse is Europe’s largest flower garden! It is the most beautiful spring garden in the world. The Keukenhof park is almost 32 hectares filled with 7 million tulips, hyacinths and daffodils. Enjoy the colors and fragrances in this unique park with the Keukenhof Garden Tour provided by Tours & Tickets. It is truly a unique and unforgettable experience!

I was not Informed before the date that the city tour is canceled. I would rather had appreciated an email for the same. But nevertheless the gentleman at the Tours and tickets at the central station office guided me and provided me with an 24 hr Hop on- Hop off Bus with Canal Cruise, so that pretty much made up my day.

Both tours were great. The tour guides were very informative. The only disappointing part of it all was, when we booked, it said, "combined tours" It was not explained properly. We thought we only had to take one bus that would go to both places. A bit disappointing when we had to go back to where we started and do it all over again for the second tour.
