A visit to the VAN GOGH MUSEUM is a unique experience. The museum contains the largest collection of paintings by Vincent van Gogh in the world. It provides the opportunity to keep track of the artist's developments, or compare his paintings to works by other artists from the 19th century in the collection. The museum also holds an extensive offer of exhibitions on various subjects from 19th-century art history.
Amsterdam is also called the 'Venice of the North'. About 100 km. canals divide the city into smaller islands that are connected by beautiful historic bridges. The most famous canals are the Herengracht, the Keizersgracht and the Prinsengracht. This tour takes you through the unique canal belt that is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. You can admire the elegant houses of the merchants who have been standing along the canals since the Golden Age, the majestic façades and façades, the beautiful churches, the iconic "Magere Brug" and many more highlights.
