" Windmills, cheese, and countryside "
3 out of 5 stars
We were disappointed in our tour. Our tour guide was a nice person but not much of a tour guide—more of a tour driver. She took us to the windmills, let us out of the car, and gave us a time to be back to the car. She did not go with us and curate our experience. She did tell us a little about it as we were driving but not much. She did set up a demonstration for the making of wooden shoes and cheese making. In previous tours we have taken, our tour guides curated our whole trip. I don’t know if she had the knowledge or not. We did appreciate her taking us to the city Amsterdam as we decided not to go to some of the other stops for our tour. She seemed to know more about Amsterdam city. If you want history and more information on the area, I would make sure your tour guide curates you’re trip and doesn’t just drive you to locations.

Ken a great driver and the decision to use your services and get out of the City for 6 hours was great.

" Private Dutch Countryside Tour "

We enjoyed this day tour very much. Having been confined to the city on the first two days of our stay, it was really refreshing and enjoyable to take a look at the country side. It was beautiful having to drive to Jisp and Edam, and another town which I can't think of the name right now. What made this trip also very enjoyable was the fact that our guide was excellent and gave us a great information about each area we visited. I will recommend this tour to visitors.

We had the best tour leader we could have ever hoped. Wim knew so much information about the area. He provided historical insights all along the way. He made everything extremely convenient. We were able to take the time we wanted at each location. If I ever get to travel again in this region I will ask for him. Holland is beautiful. I cannot even express how impressed we were with the kind people, cultural attractions, hotel and food. I could live here full time! Wonderful place and wonderful experience with our guide!!! Highly recommend!!! In addition thank you for allowing the late scheduling within 24 hours. Trip of a lifetime!!!

Jan´s hospitality was refreshing, and his commentary and knowledge excellent. We visited places we would never find on our own. At the end of the tour, we met a local farmer and had a very enjoyable conversation.
